About quality
We had to define our mission as: “WUZETEM works ensure un-failed work of Diesel engine and a top-standard and range of services by: - delivery of many types of injectors, nozzles, pumping elements and valves, - steady improvement of technological processes, and the constructions of a/m parts, - activity on a field of advising and information concerning of a/m, for all our customers and Diesel Service Workshops”. We treat our mission as acceptation of market needs for our items, and as fitting our production range for these needs. Only a such producer can win, who can hear a client’s voice, who knows his needs and wishes, and who can fully (or even better!) reply on all his needs and wishes. A way to achieving this goal for such many items produced by us, forced us to find the principles for selling them. Such a valid WUZETEM principle is QUALITY. A simple definition of quality is to check manufactured item with accordance to the requirements. But we all treat these worlds much wilder. For us it is fulfilment of client’s needs, and even exceed them. For our stuff it means also: lower costs, satisfaction from a work, effective processes of manufacturing and managing, and also – it is a final manufactured for our client an item. It means, that there is A Total Quality Management (TQM) in WUZETEM. A Quality Policy follows TQM. This policy was approved in 1992, and than twice improved in 1999 and in 2003 by our General Director (please find it above): “ Quality of our goods and services are the one of main principles of permanent prosperity of our works. Hence, taking above into consideration, and also for reaching a permanent improvement our marketing stand, we continuously improve our goods and manufacturing processes to fulfil all client’s needs and expectations by deliveries on-time of our goods and services which are following the given requirements.” Shortly reassuming: above is a right and modern point of view for quality matters, and also for our: work, design processes, technology, production processes, information flow, etc. All these points are found in our quality system, that follows ISO 9001 standards (implemented in 1995 and approved by SGS Yarsley, a branch of Swiss “Societe Generale de Surveillance). This certification approves the third page of compliance of functioning of a quality system against standard’s requirement .This certificate was valid till 16-12-2003 and now WUZETEM achieve ISO 9001 :2000 certificate by TUV SAARLAND. 
At 18 and 19 of April 2005 WUZTEM passed with positive result audyt and achieve Cerificate of ISO/TS 16949: 2002. Each 6 months our managers, and than a Company who certified us are running an overhaul of all processes. It enlarge our Certificate. According to Deming rule: PLAN – DO – CHECK – ACTION each time we are trying to improve the already existed level of quality for all place of our working, and in all process. Everybody from our stuff has got its own “client”. For our Trade Department – it is a real client who buy our injectors, nozzles, pumping elements, etc. For the rest – a client – it is the next person from manufacturing or another process. So we have got two types of client: inside WUZETEM, and outside WUZETEM works. Bwe do care about both types of client. Looking from inside – each our man may be a client, but also may be a provider the semi-parts for next operations in production process. So there is applied the motto: “When you deliver the best semi-product items and services for your internal clients, it is guaranteed that the external client would be given as much best quality items, as you were given. A System of Quality Assurance given upper (managing with usage of quality) together with its development is like one of three pillars what carry quality at optimal level of clients’ satisfaction. The next pillars are: Our people are recognised as our the greater value, because quality is not an accidental matter, but it always follows humans efforts. Their experience from a range of Fuel Diesel Injection Equipment, behaviour, integration inside our works, and their individual characteristics create our quality in a large part. Our Personal Department requires the proper chose of stuff should be chosen, for proper places. People are competent and responsible in their job area. There is responsibility for a quality at the places where quality must be strictly observed and (if necessary: improved), e.g at production line, not at the end of this process: at laboratory room. As quality is essential for our stuff, each man started from a simple worker – till our General Director are learn the quality matters. This process forces everybody to supply himself with a new ideas connected with quality; this quality which is necessary on each man place of working. Such learning gives a possibility for an extra development of each our man. A communication processes inside our works, between management and a stuff are essential too. Each month our managers meet their department’s stuff to let them know about our works activities in the last past-time, to give them directive lines, and explain the methods how to reach our new aims. Manufacturing processes Materials’ quality guarantee a top quality of manufactured by WUZETEM items. We use a steel, the same pure (from a chemical point of view), and bought from the same source (steel-works) as the leaders in our branch: CAV, R. Bosch, etc. Especially, it regards the nozzles and pumping elements. Simply says: the materials for manufacturing of our items are purchased form the same, already checked and approved suppliers. As we wish our processes of manufacture would be optimised, we use “just in time” deliveries for raw-materials, and sub-parts. It allow us to avoid keeping a big stock of them, so it reduce our costs. Next matter inflowing on a quality – is thermochemical treatment. In 1992 we implemented a process of nitrogenous-carbonising. Thanks to that we received the harden-layers of nozzles body, that were very similar to our a/m competitors. For a better treatment of nozzles’ needles, we replaced the old “salt furnaces” for the new “vacuum treatment” furnaces. It also helped our ecology.... The machining processes we used for our items (especially for a very precision items, like nozzles, pumping elements and valves) guarantee the top-quality precision in their dimensions, and helps us to avoid any mistake in shape or in technical data. It is worthy to undertake the processes which ensure the best operation parameters of our items. Regarding pintle nozzles – a process of nozzle steam treatment at the place of running part of a needle, and also a grinding of pintle nozzles shape for a “spraying hole’s Φ diameter” we use “grinding machines with a numerical control”. Thanks to this process we received the lots in which the nozzles are with homogeneous characteristics of flow for each nozzle from this lot. Such nozzles allow engine(s) to work equally. For multihole nozzles we used numerical control drilling machine for homogeneous placing of spraying holes, and their proper passing throw. A special numerical control drilling machine was used for a proper drilling of fuel holes in pumping elements, as these holes are placed in a very narrow tolerances. For a top-quality of holes which collaborate with a plunger – we use special honing machine and special laps. The bodies of injection pumps and bodies of feeding pumps are machining on Machining Centres. The guarantee of top-quality for injectors and its sub-parts gives numerical centre turning automate. Each manufacturing processes have got its own control plans. We involved in it our laboratories: - fuel injection equipment, - of measurement of an angle, and the length, - chemistry lab.; - metallography lab. Metallography investigation helps us with the quality estimation of thermal-chemistry treatment and quality of all items after their production process is finished. Described 3 pillars, that are holding WUZETEM top-quality, there are on a very strong concrete foundation. This foundation is our management (Managers and Directors). Our Quality System Assurance works – our products enjoy a wide demand all over the world, onto the all continents, and a volume of WUZETEM exports exceed 60 % of total output.
